My first tea blend is inspired by romance and euphoria, the feeling of being close to someone you love or desire. The blend is actually made for lovers and includes a special herb that is considered to boost libido and entice the opposite sex. I’m referring to Damiana leaf.
Damiana, also called Turnera diffusa, is believed to have originated from Central and South America. The herb has been around for a very long time and was utilized by the Aztecs and the Malays as a strong aphrodisiac. It is also known to help improve blood flow and the maintenance of the nerve endings in the genitalia, which can address sexual inadequacies and erectile dysfunction. Studies today are now focusing on the other health benefits of damiana and how it can function as a potential stress aid for people who suffer from anxiety or panic attacks. Aside from the health benefits and sexual aid, I happen to love the scent, which smells almost heavenly to me, in fact it caused me a very visceral euphoric response ….and I’m now considering making an aromatic oil from it.
My blend also contains hints of Lavender and Chamomile to relax the nerves and mind, with soothing hints of Rose petals and Rose hips …the icons of love & romance. Cinnamon adds just the perfect accent and kick, the necessary warmth we all want during passion.
I offer two sizes, 4 oz. of loose leaf tea blend or 12 tea bags with a floral slide box for storage, which is great to use for tea bags or accessories
