I recently spent some time in Seattle, and while I was there I managed to get myself up to Steepologie , which is a store I’d only briefly heard of in passing conversations. Upon arriving I realized this quaint little tea house/outlet was so much more impressive and diverse than I initially imagined.
Decorated in pretty tea lights with walls lined from top to bottom with canisters full of tea recipes, it was kind of a mini herbal haven. Something about it felt a little magical …right down to the girl with the sparkly tulle skirt who served me a Mexican Chocolate tea latte.
I was genuinely surprised at how many amazing blends they had as well as the overall charming and minimalist vibe the store had. It felt very calming and somewhat removed from the hustle and bustle of city life despite being in the very center of Seattle’s busiest areas. Before I sat down to enjoy my tea I took a bit of time to smell all the different aromatic blends and peruse the myriad of recipes available. It was almost meditative to immerse myself in the herbal energy and scents.
In the end I walked out with at least six different teas to explore and a tummy fully of chocolate latte. I can 100% say I will definitely be back for more ❤
