Island Days

Mainly this post is a photo dump for travel memories…but I’ll give it a short narration.

Last time I was in Hawaii was 2012…so it’s been a minute since I was on the island. This is the view from our hotel in Oahu, first time on this part of the island! Last trip was Hilo and Maui, so I was definitely exploring some new terrain…and oddly there was a full tsunami warning only a week after we left!

Here we took a nice snorkel off this catamaran to look at sea life …..and to swim in the pacific 🐠

After enjoying the boat and a swim my sister and I went for an early dinner at monkeypod restaurant, where I enjoyed drinks, dinner and live music!

After this venture, we spent the following day on a chocolate-making tour…which I will post soon! Lots of interesting facts were learned, we even got to taste the raw fruit of a chocolate pod.
