These are some of the spots I dined at in Florida the past few weeks,
First spot is the super magical, whimsy filled brunch and tea spot in Saint Augustine –
The Modern Rose

We started off with the boba flight, which is a selection of handmade boba teas that the bartender chooses….
1- Pea Flower & Coconut boba with blueberry puree and blueberry boba
2- Mango & Guava with guava puree and crystal boba
3- Banana creme-brulee matcha with fresh bananas and brown sugar
4- and some kind fruit punch with strawberry boba, which was my favorite
I then had a chocolate croissant & turkey & Brie and pesto sandwich…and a side salad. Everything was divine!
This place was so much fun and so decadent, ….it’s a local hibachi spot in St. Augustine
Mikato
1- I had the filet minion & scallops & shrimp hibachi
2- Salmon egg rolls that were out of this world
3- Tobiko Sushi & Japanese soda
4- Shrimp and Veggie Tempura
5- Pistachio cold custard with chocolate sauce
Even more amazing, the sweet men across from the table paid for our dinner before they left! We didn’t
even know what they did until they were already gone. I almost cried, it was such an angelic, kind gesture.
And the tab was so high….we couldn’t even believe they’d go out of their way to do such a lovely thing for complete
strangers. It truly made our weekend!

Got this little snack pack of goodies from the international candy market in St. George Square….
Passport Sweets
1- Hello Kitty Strawberry/Cherry cotton candy
2-Harry Potter ButterBeer Chocolate bar which is fucking fantastic!
3- Sour Pickle straws which were surprisingly good, I wasn’t sure about those but they were totally worth it

Pistachio Gelato from D-Maria Bakery – Palm Coast Fl. – we casually came upon this spot after visiting the metaphysical store across the way. We were getting some gorgeous candles, incense and holy items when we noticed
the grand opening sign at the bakery!
We had brunch at Sunday Gathering Table…..very relaxed vibe, run by mostly younger people. We ordered all sorts of menu items some of my favorites were
-Eggs Benedict with Avocado sub
-Large Cinnamon roll
-Shakshuka (a standard middle eastern dish with onion, peppers, tomato and fried eggs)
Their menu is super simple but also super cute, everything looked hand drawn.

My mom and I went here for a late lunch. The restaurant is FARO….and it was a wine & pizza bar mainly. But they had a few other Italian dishes and salads. Very laid back vibes, right across the street from Flagler Beach on the main drag.
I had eggplant lasagna & a caesar salad – both dishes were very delicious and balanced. Staff was a bit hands off but otherwise the food was great and the restaurant was classy w/ nice vibes
I had so many other meals …but just didn’t remember to catch a photo. Maybe I’ll do another set of reviews when I have the time, possibly focus on desserts & pastry 💗
